A Dadaist Cupcake

Just as there is a Wilhelm Scream, there also seems to be a Wilhelm Animal Decomposition as well. I've noticed the same time lapsed animal decomposition in at least five places over the years. It shows a dog slowly coming apart, being eaten by maggots, etc. The first time I saw it was in the movie Adaptation, where it was both beautiful AND disgusting. Then a few years later, before I went electric, I realized that it was also in the Nine Inch Nails video for HURT. Then, it kept popping up in other places. Commercials. Movies. I believe it was in a Bill Viola video piece. It's starting to become as cliched as said Wilhelm Scream.

Where did this footage come from? Who shot it? It shall forever remain a mystery.
